Discovery’s Honey finish represents our light finish. There are many Honey finishes on the market today and Discovery has been developing ours over the past 27 years. It is a 4-step lacquered finish that contains mainly a light neutral tone with a golden highlight and is top-coated with a mild sheen. It is a longstanding winning finish because it adapts well in most home environments and it works well with the transitional mission styling.

Product Description

Our Stair Stepper bunk bed not only provides a safer alternative to a traditional bunk bed ladder but also includes a built in four drawer chest. Our unique design allows the staircase to go on either side of the bed, allowing the customer to set up the bed whichever way works best for them.

Drawer Details

All drawers feature European Roller Drawer Glides with a positive stop. These glides will provide silky smooth operation and the positive stop prevents the drawers from being pulled out and falling to the ground if pulled too hard. The inside measurement of each drawer is 15" D x 18" W x 4 3/4" T.

Storage Rack

The storage rack is located on the inside of the stair section and is a great location to store books, tablets and other accessories.

Built-In Storage

Room organization is made easier with the built in 4 drawer dresser located on the other side of the staircase. Giving you storage for clothing, toys, or other items.

Q: What is the weight limit for the top bunk and the weight limit for the bottom bunk?

A: The weight capacity will depend on how you plan on supporting the mattress. The way that will give you the most weight capacity is to use a bunkie board.
