The value can not be beat. There are several imperfections in the wood pieces (small cracks in some of the edges and small 1 to 2 -inch “nature-made” holes where the wood knots are). Overall, we are pleased with the quality of wood. All the pieces and hardware were intact.

This took much longer to get than I originally expected, but these beds are SOLID!!. I bought 2, 1 for each child, and they live them. I love them cause I know they are strong enough to withstand my children.

I ordered my Manhattan bed with J Stairs last Christmas. During the ordering process I had spoken with the sales rep, who advised me on planning for custom height and he confirmed with the technician that what I wanted was feasible. The products shipped on time and in good condition. Assembly was fairly straight forward, and I advise that you test fit each piece before gluing and screwing together. My bed is attached to the wall studs with lag bolts, as we live in earthquake country.

The Bed Frame has a weight capacity of 1000 lbs.

The Mattress Support has the following Weight Capacities: Twin Loft: 300-lbs, Full Loft: 400-lbs, Queen Loft: 400-lbs. *You Can Choose To Add Weight Capacity On Any Loft Bed - Scroll Down To See These Options.

There Are Two Leg Heights Available, The Regular 69 In. Or The Extra Tall 83 In. Legs. We assume you will use an 8 In. Mattress which will give you a clearance of about 55 In. for the 69 In. Leg or 67 In. for the 83 In. Legs. If you need more clearance, you can order an extra tall or custom height version. You can also use a thinner mattress and let us know the size, we can then set the rails higher.

Twin loft bed

Pros: Solid and sturdy wood

The value can not be beat. There are several imperfections in the wood pieces (small cracks in some of the edges and small 1 to 2 -inch “nature-made” holes where the wood knots are). Overall, we are pleased with the quality of wood. All the pieces and hardware were intact.

Great Bed

This took much longer to get than I originally expected, but these beds are SOLID!!. I bought 2, 1 for each child, and they live them. I love them cause I know they are strong enough to withstand my children.

Manhattan loft bed and J Stairs

Pros: Loving this bed! The J Stairs make entry & exit a cinch.

Cons: Ensure you fully understand the directions before assembly.

I ordered my Manhattan bed with J Stairs last Christmas. During the ordering process I had spoken with the sales rep, who advised me on planning for custom height and he confirmed with the technician that what I wanted was feasible. The products shipped on time and in good condition. Assembly was fairly straight forward, and I advise that you test fit each piece before gluing and screwing together. My bed is attached to the wall studs with lag bolts, as we live in earthquake country.
