DESCRIPTION

This University Bunk Bed with Built in Ladder and 2 Guardrails has 1-1/2″ square posts, 1″ and 1/2″ square tubes. The button and hook in style connector between the decks and the headboards makes for a solid connection. The epoxy powder coating makes it rust resistant. The built-in ladder and guardrails ensure that it meets the ASTM F 1427-13 Standard Consumer Safety Specifications for Bunk Beds and meets the Code of Federal Regulations 1213 Safety Standard for Entrapment Hazard in Bunk Beds, and the Code of Federal Regulations 1513 Requirements for Bunk Beds.

Commercial duty bunk beds

Pros: Solid, Sturdy and Quiet

Cons: Little Pricey

Little spendy but well worth it... I work for a domestic violence shelter and we have been using residential bunk beds for 20 years, i was about to order new residential sets as some of our old ones were falling apart. Someone from national home store recommended these and I am happy they did. they have solid steel frames with solid mattress frames. This makes them not only sturdier but quieter, they don't squeak like the ones with many pieces. In the future we will be phasing out the residentials and replacing with these.
